we'll be making:

For this tutorial, you

The fairy tube I used

This fairy tube is © Renee
Biertempfel. I've added the copyright information as a layer. Please keep this
layer on the original tube so you'll know who owns copyright to image if you use
it in the future. For this tag, you can be
delete or resize the copyright layer, if you wish. If you choose to delete it, please make sure you
add the copyright information to the finished tag, as per Renee's terms of use.

Ready?
1) Open the
tube in PSP. Go to the layer palette and make sure raster 1 is
highlighted, this is layer that contains the fairy image. raster 2
contains the copyright information.
2) Open a new
canvas - use the following settings:

3) Click on
the tube canvas and go to Edit > Copy
Click on the blank canvas and go to Edit > Paste As New Layer

4) Go to the
layer palette. Right click on Raster 2 and duplicate.

5) Turn OFF
the copy of raster 2 and click on Raster 2 to make it the active
layer.

6) Go to
Effects > Artistic Effects > Sepia Toning

7) Go to
Image > Resize and use the following settings.

You will now
have this:

8) Go to
Effects > Edge Effects and click on Enhance More

You will now
have this

9) Go to the
layer palette and reduce the opacity of raster 2 to 48

You will now
have this:

10) Go to the
layer palette and turn ON the visibility of Copy of raster 2. Use
the mover tool to move it into position.

11) Go back
to the layer palette and click raster 1 to make it active.

12) Using the
dropper tool, choose a light brown colour from the fairy image,
Flood fill Raster 1.

13) Go to
Image > Add border and use the following settings:

This is what
you will have:

14) Using the
dropper tool again, choose a dark colour from the fairy image. This
is for your text. If you'd like the light brown to be the stroke
colour you can click the arrow and the 2 colours will swap windows.

15) Click on
the text tool and use the following settings:



16) Click on
the canvas so the text entry box opens. Type in your text...if you
want it down the side, the same as mine, type in your first letter
then press enter on your keyboard. Repeat until all your letters
have been added. Click ok.
17) Add the
copyright information and resize to a size of your choice.
18) Save as a
.jpg and you're done :o)
