Draw a shape big enough to fit the bear on the corner and to take your name!

Go to the layer palette and drag Raster 2 under Raster 1. This will make the bears paws look like it's holding the shape.

Click on your magic wand tool and select the border on the shape. (Make sure the shape layer is selected in the layer palette)

Add an inner bevel.

Click on your Text tool and use the settings in the screenshot. Click on your canvas and type your text in the text entry box when it opens. Click ok then move your text into position. it doesn't matter what colour you have in your materials palette because we're going to flood fill the text with a gradient.

Go to your layer palette. Right click on the Floating Selection layer and click on Promote Selection To Layer. Move the Promoted Selection layer under Raster 1. Keep the marching ants on the text.

This is what you will have.

Go to your layer palette and rename Raster 2 - card, Promoted Selection - text and Raster 1 - bear. Now right click on the text layer and duplicate it. Repeat so you have 3 layers of text. Turn off the 2 copies of text and click on the text layer to select it.

Choose the SN_VioletCrush gradient. Set the repeats to 3 and angle to 0.

Flood fill the text then add an inner bevel.

This is what you'll have.

Unhide the first copy of text and click on it to make it active.

Go to your gradient and set the angle to 60

Flood fill the text and add the same inner bevel.

Unhide the last copy of text and click on it to select it.

Go to your gradient and set the angle 120

Flood fill the text and add the same inner bevel.

Now go to your layer palette and duplicate the card and bear layers twice so you have 3 layers of each.

Arrange as in the screenshot. Now turn off the visibility of the top 6 layers. Right click on the bottom card layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Turn off the newly merged layer and turn on the next 3 layers. Right click on the copy of card layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Turn off the newly merged layer and turn on the last 3 layers. Right click on the copy of card layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Turn on all layers.

Click on your crop tool and click on Snap Crop Rectangle To: Layer Opaque. A rectangle will appear around your bear. Click on the Tick to crop the excess canvas away. (NOTE: Yours will have the text on the card. I did the screenshot before adding the text by mistake!)

Save as a PSP file

Open the file in Animation Shop. Go to Edit > Select All then Animation > Frame Properties and set the display time to 25.

Save as a .gif and you're done!
