Teddy Bear Blinkie
Open PSP. Go to File > Preferences > General Program Preferences. Click on the Transparency tab. Make sure the grid size is set to Medium and the Grid Colours are set to Light Grey.

Open a new image

Click on your paintbrush tool and use the following settings.

Set your foreground colour box to #e49fa7

Set your background colour box to #ebcbd4

Starting at the bottom left corner, paint the first white square. Your brush should be the right size to fit in the square. Keep painting the white squares until your canvas looks like the following.

Add a new raster layer

Swap the colours in your colour boxes so your background colour goes into your foreground colour box. To do this, click on the little arrow that points to both colour boxes. Now miss a row and on the next row in, paint out the grey squares as in the screenshot.

Add a new raster layer

Set your foreground colour to c93b4c

Use your selection tool set on rectangle and make a selection as in the screenshot

Flood fill the selection.

Go to your layer palette and drag raster 3 below raster 2

Your canvas should now look like as follows.

Go to Effects > Texture Effects > Blinds and use the following settings

This is what you will have. Go to Selections > Select None

Add a new raster layer

Move it to the top of the layer palette

Add your tube. I set the scale to 35. Use your mover tool to get it into position.

Set your foreground colour to Null

Add a new raster layer

Use your font tool, with the following settings and add your text to the canvas.
![]()
Go to Selections > Select None. Now right click on the top layer in your layer palette and go to Merge > Merge Visible. Go to Edit > Copy

Open Animation Shop. Set your foreground colour box to #c93b4c

Go to File > Preferences > General Program Preferences. Click on the transparency tab. Click in each colour box and change the colour to blue. This will help us see our squares better.

Go to Edit > Paste As New Animation. Go to Edit > Duplicate Selected. Keep duplicating until you have 16 frames. (You may need to delete a frame because it usually takes you to 17)

Click on your flood fill tool and on frame 1, flood fill the top corner square. On frame 2, flood fill the next 2 squares.

On frames 3 and 4, flood fill the next 2 squares.

On frames 5 and 6, flood fill the next 2 squares

On frames 7 and 8, flood fill the next 2 squares

On frame 9, flood fill the last 2 squares. We're now going to make our way back to the corner. On frame 10, flood fill the previous 2 squares.

Carry on flood filling the squares, making your way back to the corner square.

Change your foreground colour to #db1d1d

Now we're going to flood fill the lighter squares but we're going to start from the end rather than the corner. On frame 16, flood fill the last 2 squares. On frame 15, flood fill the next 2 squares, making your way back to the corner.

Carry on filling the squares going back to the corner.

When you've flood filled the 2 corner squares (should be frame 11), make your way back out again!

and finally, when you get to the end...make your way, (for the last time!) back to the corner!

Go to Edit > Select All then Animation > Frame Properties and set the display time to 25.

Save your blinkie and you're done!
