Open a new image

Set your foreground colour box to D_gold fold1

Set your background colour box to the Metallic gradient.

Click on the text tool and go to the tool options. Set the Width to 2

Click on your new canvas then type your text in the text entry box.

This is what you will have. Go to Selections > Select None.

Open the presents tube. Go to Edit > Copy. Click on your text canvas and go to Edit > Paste > As New Layer

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer. Name it white.

Move the new layer to the bottom of the layer palette and flood fill it with white.

Click on Layer 1 to select it (this should be your text layer)

Add a drop shadow (Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow) using the settings in the screenshot.

Click on Layer 2 to select it (this should be the presents layer) and add the same drop shadow

Turn off the visibility of the white layer.

Right click on Layer 1 and go to Merge > Merge Visible. Now right click on the newly merged layer and rename it, text.

Right click on the white layer and duplicate. Repeat so you have 3 white layers.

Right click on the text layer and duplicate. Repeat so you have 3 text layers. Now right click on the text layer and rename it text1. Rename the copies, text2 and text3. Do the same on the white layers.

Click on text1 to select it and go to Effects > Plug In Filters > VM Natural > Sparkle

Use the settings in the screenshot (or try changing the settings to get our own results....for example, if you turn set the red slider to 0 and the green slider to 0, you'll get blue sparkles instead of white ones! If you set the Rnd Colour On/Off slider to 0, you'll get multi coloured sparkles! Play with the settings to achieve different results)

On the layer palette, click on text2 to select it and add sparkles.

On the layer palette, click on text3 to select it and add sparkles.

Arrange the layers as in the screenshot. Turn off the visibility of the top 4 layers and click on the bottom layer to select it.

Right click on the layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible. Turn off the visibility of the newly merged layer and turn on the visibility of the next 2 layers.

Right click on the layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible. Turn off the visibility of the newly merged layer and turn on the visibility of the top 2 layers.

Right click on the layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible. Turn on the visibility of all layers.

Click on the crop tool. Draw a box around your sig then go to the tool options palette and click Crop Image

Save as psp file

Open the file in Animation Shop. Go to Edit > Select All then Animation > Frame Properties and set the display time to 20.

Save and you're done :o)
