Clone Tool
To see the printer friendly version of this tutorial, click HERE Once you know how the clone tool works it is a very useful tool :o) For this tutorial I used a flower tube from Graphics Galore Open you tube in PSP
Open a new image by
clicking on the new image icon
I always make my canvas big because I like to have plenty of room to work with. Click on your flower tube to make it the active canvas then right click on the bar at the top of the canvas. Click on Copy Right click on the bar at the top of your new canvas and click on Paste as new layer Your flower tube will now be on your new canvas and you can close the original. If your tube is too big, go to Image > Resize Make sure all layers is NOT ticked. I resized mine by 80%
Click on your Clone Tool
Now RIGHT click on your flower. This works by kind of taking a photo of your flower. Add a new layer by going to Layers > New Raster Layer
Click ok Go back to your new canvas and LEFT click, keeping the button pressed, paint on the canvas
You will see your flower picture start to appear. Keep painting.....
until you have a full Clone of your flower
Now because your cloned flower is on it's own layer it can moved around,. I flipped and mirrored it by going to Image > Flip then Image > Mirror
Now you know how the clone tool works you can use it for lot's of different projects :o) I hope you enjoyed this tutorial Tutorial written by
