Reindeer Twinkle

Open a new image

Open the bear tube. Click on the copy icon then click on your new canvas and go to Edit > Paste > As New Selection. Position the bear then go to Selections > Select None.

Set your background colour to #800000 and your foreground colour to mcq cell gradient.

Click on your text tool and use the settings in the screenshot. Click on your canvas then type your text in the text entry box. Click ok. Position your text where want it.

Go to the layer palette, right click on Floating Selection and click on Promote to Layer.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer.

Move the new layer to bottom of the layer palette.

Flood fill the layer with #800000

Turn off the visibility of the flood filled layer then right click on the bear layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Click on your crop tool. Move the crop lines to the edge of the image.

Click on the tick to perform the crop.

Go to the layer palette, unhide the flood filled layer then merge visible. Go to Image > Add Border

Use the magic wand tool to select the border then flood fill it with gold.

Click on your tube tool. Find the coloured sparkles tube and set the scale to 25.

Go to the layer palette, right click on the layer duplicate. Do this twice more so you have 4 layers. Turn off the visibility of the top 3 layers.

Put some sparkles on the 'lights' on the reindeers wreath. I found it easier to choose a colour and just add sparkles to that colour.

Unhide the next layer above and click on it to select it. Choose another colour on the wreath and put sparkles on each colour.

Do the same on the top layer. Save as a psp file.

Open the file in Animation Shop, go to Edit > Select All then Animation > Frame Properties and set the display time to 25.

Save and you're done :o)
