Open a new image

Set your background colour #c00000 and your foreground colour to null (null means no colour)

Click on your text tool and use the settings in the screenshot.

Click on the canvas and type the text in the text entry box. Click ok. Move the text to the middle of the canvas then go to Selections > Select None. Go to the layer palette, right click on the text layer and click on duplicate. Do this twice more so you have 4 text layers. Turn off the visibility of the top 3 layers.

Go to Effects > Plug ins > Xero > Fritillary and use the settings in the screenshot.

Unhide the next text layer and click on it to select it.

Go to Effects > Plug ins > Xero > Fritillary and use the settings in the screenshot.

Go to Effects > Plug ins > Xero > Fritillary and use the settings in the screenshot.

Go to Effects > Plug ins > Xero > Fritillary and use the settings in the screenshot.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer

Click on your tube tool and use the settings in the screenshot. Use the mover tool to position the tube where you want it.

Go to the layer palette and right click on the Rudolph layer. Duplicate it and repeat this twice more so you have 4 Rudolph layers. Arrange the layers as in the screenshot.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer

Move the new layer below Raster 1

Flood fill it with white, duplicate it so you have 4 layers and arrange them as in the screenshot. Turn off the visibility of all layers except the bottom 3.

Right click on a visible layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible. Turn off the visibility of the newly merged layer and turn on the visibility of the next 3 layers.

Right click on a visible layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible. Turn off the visibility of the newly merged layer and turn on the visibility of the next 3 layers.

Right click on a visible layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible. Turn off the visibility of the newly merged layer and turn on the visibility of the last 3 layers.

Turn on the visibility of all layers.

Click on your crop tool.

Move the crop lines round the image

Click on the tick to perform the crop.

Turn off the visibility of the top layer and click on the layer below to select it.

Set your foreground colour to #cc854f

Using your paintbrush tool set to size 1, paint out the eyes as in the screenshot.

Turn off the visibility of the top 3 layers and click on the bottom layer to select it.

Set your foreground colour to #c00000

Paint out the red on Rudolph's nose with the darker red.

Turn on the visibility of all layers.

Save as a psp file.

Open the file in Animation Shop. Go to Edit > Select All...

then Animation > Frame Properties

Set the display time to 15 and click ok.

Save and you're done :o)
