Open a new image

Set your foreground colour to #b5001a

Set your background colour to #d2032a

Click on your preset shapes tool, select Rectangle and use the settings in the screenshot. Set the Width to 2.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer. Name the layer, Rectangle

Draw a rectangle on your canvas

Go to the layer palette, right click on the rectangle layer and click on duplicate. Go to Image > Mirror

Add a new raster layer. Name it, Square.

Change your shape setting to the square

Draw a square in the middle of the 2 rectangles.

Add a new raster layer. name it, Roses.

Click on your tube tool. Find the rose tube and set the scale to 90.

Click once on your canvas

Go to Image > Free Rotate

Use the settings in the screenshot and click ok.

This is what you should have

This is how your layer palette should look. Click on the roses layer to select it then turn the opacity of the layer down to 65 (use the little slider at the top of the layers). Now click on Raster 1 to select it and flood fill it with white.

Add a new raster layer. Name it, Writing.

Set your background colour to #900620. Set your foreground to null (null means no colour)

Click on your text tool and use the settings in the screenshot.

Click on your canvas. Type some text in the text entry box. It doesn't matter what you type...it's not there to be read, it's there for decoration! I typed the words to the children's song, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!

Go to the layer palette, right click on the writing layer and duplicate. Turn off the visibility of all the others, leaving both writing layers visible. Right click and Merge Visible.

Now right click on the newly merged layer and duplicate. Repeat so you have 3 writing layers.

Use the mover tool to move the writing as in the screenshot.

Add a new raster layer. name it, Name.

Set your background to the gold gradient.

Click on your text tool and change the font size to 72

Click on your canvas. Type your name in the text entry box then click ok. Position your name in the left rectangle. Go to the layer palette, right click on the name layer and duplicate. Go to Image > Mirror. Use the mover tool to position the mirrored name in the right rectangle.

Open the heart tube in PSP. Go to Edit > Copy. Click on your sig canvas to select it then go to Edit > Paste > As New Layer. Position the heart in the middle of the square.

Go to the layer palette, turn off the visibility of Raster 1 then right click on another layer and go to merge > Merge Visible.

Click on your crop tool then click on the Snap Crop Rectangle to: Layer Opaque.

Save as a PSP file.

Open your saved file and the twinkle.gif in Animation Shop. The twinkle gif has 15 frames. Click on your saved file to select it then click on the Duplicate Frames icon. Keep clicking until you have 17 frames.

Now click on the last frame and click on the Delete Frame icon. Click on the last frame again and delete it. You should now be left with 15 frames.

Click on the twinkle gif and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Copy. Now click back on your sig canvas and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Paste > Into Selected. Keep pasting the twinkle all over the sig.
