Open the tube in PSP. Press Shift and d to make a copy and close the original.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer

Set your foreground colour to the gold gradient.

Set your background colour to #800000

Go to Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel and use the settings in the screenshot.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer. Flood fill the new layer with white then drag it to the bottom of the layer palette.

This is how your layer palette should look (don't worry if your bear layer is named differently). Right click on the white layer and go to Merge > merge Visible.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer

Flood fill the layer with white then click on your text tool again. Change the direction, Kerning and Create as. Click on the canvas and type the word, Naughty? in the text entry box. Click ok.

Use the node on the vector box to swivel the text so it's at an angle. Go to the layer palette. Right click on the vector layer and click on Promote to Raster Layer.

Turn off the visibility of the bear layer and right click on the white layer. Merge Visible.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer. Flood fill the layer with white.

Add the word Nice? to the canvas using the same text settings as before. Use the node on the vector box to swivel the text. Right click on the vector layer and click on Promote to Raster Layer.

Turn off the visibility of the Naughty? layer and the bear layer. Merge the 2 visible layers.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer. Flood fill the layer with white. Move the layer to the top of the layer palette if it isn't there already.

Now you need your text tool again. Choose whether you're naughty or nice and add the text! Turn off all layers except the new white layer and the new text layer. Merge the visible layers.

This is how your layer palette should look. Make sure all layers are visible. Save as a psp file.

Open the file in Animation Shop. Right click on frame 1 and go to Frame Properties. Set the display time to 100.

Right click on frame 2 and go to Frame Properties. Set the display time to 100.

Click on frame 3 then right click and go to Frame Properties. Set the display time to 200.

With frame 3 selected, go to Effects > Insert Image Transition and choose Dissolve in the drop down box. Use the settings in the screenshot.

Click on frame 4 and press the shift key on your keyboard. Keep it pressed and scroll to the next to last frame of the animation. Click on it. Now go to Animation > Frame Properties and set the display time to 10.

Click on the last frame of the animation and go to Animation > Frame Properties then set the display time to 95.

Save and you're done :o)
