Open the tube in PSP. Press Shift and d to make a copy and close the original.

Go to Image > Resize and use the settings in the screenshot.

Set your foreground colour to #c55354

Set your background colour to #e19496

Click on the text tool and use the settings in the screenshot. Click on your teddy bear canvas and type your text in the text entry box. Click OK. Move the text to where you want it then go to Selections > Select None.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer

Flood fill the new layer with white then go to the layer palette and drag the white layer, under the bear layer.

Right click on a layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Right click on the merged layer and Duplicate. Keep duplicating the layer until you have a total of 7 layers. Turn off the visibility of all layers except the bottom layer.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer

Click on your preset shapes tool and use the settings in the screenshot.

Draw a small heart coming from the boy teddy bears mouth. If needed, use your mover tool to position it near his mouth.

Go to the layer palette and right click on the heart layer. Click on Duplicate.

Use the mover tool to move the duplicated heart to the girl teddy bears mouth.

Right click on the bear layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible. Turn off the newly merged layer and turn on the layer above.

Add a new raster layer.

Now we need to be able to see the first hearts we made so the bottom layer back on and turn off the layer above. Keep the blank layer selected and draw the heart. You can see how big the hearts are on the first layer....make the new heart a little bigger.

Use the mover tool to position it as in the screenshot.

Turn off the bottom layer and turn the layer above, back on. Right click on the heart layer and duplicate.

Use the mover tool to move the duplicated heart to the right as in the screenshot.

Right click on the visible bear layer and merge visible. Turn on the next bear layer and click on it to select it.

Go to Layers > New Raster Layer

Draw another heart. If you need to, turn off the Copy of Merged layer and turn on the layer below it (this should be the second layer with hearts on) and use it to judge how big the new heart needs to be and where it needs to be positioned.

This is the positioning of the third heart. We're not duplicating this heart.

Make sure only the new heart layer and the 3rd bear layer are visible and merge them. Turn off the newly merged layer and turn on the next layer above.

Add a new raster layer and draw a bigger heart.

This is how your layer palette will look at this point.

and this is how your canvas should look.

If you need to check positioning again, turn off the bear layer which is directly below the heart layer and the new heart layer. Turn on the merged bear and heart layer below.

Now turn the new heart layer back on and use the move tool to position it over the smaller heart.

Turn off the merged heart and bear layer and make sure the only visible layers are the new heart layer and the bear layer. Merge the 2 layers then turn off the visibility of the newly merged layer.

Turn on the visibility of the next bear layer and add a new raster layer.

Draw a bigger heart than before, position it over the smaller heart on the previous layer then merge the 2 layers.

Turn on the visibility of all the layers. (We haven't done anything to top bear layer. We need that layer in Animation Shop).

Save as a PSP file.

Go to Edit > Select All then Animation > Frame Properties. Set the display time to 30.

Click on frame 6 to select it.

Go to Effects > Insert Image Transition. In the drop down box, select Fade and use the settings in the screenshot.

Save and you're done :o)
