Flower Noise

Open a new image

Add a new Raster Layer

When the window opens, click ok.

Click on your tube tool and select the flower tube. Leave the scale at 100.

Click once on your canvas

Go to your layer palette, right click on Raster 2 and click on duplicate. Repeat so you have 3 flower layers. Turn OFF the visibility of the copied layers and click on the original layer to select it.

Go to Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise and use the following settings.

Turn on the visibility of the first copied layer and click on it to select it

Add noise using the following settings:

Turn on the visibility of the second copied layer and click on it to select it.

Add noise using the following settings:

Add a new raster layer.

Click on the tube tool and select the teddy tube. Set the scale at 50

Click on the canvas then use the mover tool to move the bear into the middle of the flower.

Add a new raster layer

Click on the text tool and use the following settings. Click on your canvas. The text entry box will open. Type in your text and click ok. Go to Selections > Select None.

Move the text layer below the bear layer by clicking on it and dragging it down.

This is what you should now have.

Add an inner bevel to the text by going to Effects > 3D Effects> Inner Bevel. Use the following settings:

Right click on the text layer and duplicate it twice.

Right click on the teddy layer and duplicate it twice.

Arrange the layers as in the screenshot. A bear layer should be at the top, followed by a text layer than a flower layer.

Turn off the visibility of the bottom 7 layers by clicking on the eye at the side of each layer.

The top 3 layers should be visible, as in the screenshot.

Right click on one of the visible layers and go to Merge > Merge All

Turn off the visibility of the newly merged layer and turn on the visibility of the next 3 layers.

Right click on a layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Turn off the newly merged layer and turn on the next 3 layers.

Right click and merge visible.

Now click on the bottom layer to select it and flood fill it with white.

Right click and duplicate the white layer. Repeat so you have 3 white layers. Arrange them as in the screenshot. Turn off the visibility of the top 4 layers and click on the visible merged layer to select it.

Click on the crop tool then click on the Snap Crop Rectangle to Layer Opaque then click on the tick to apply the crop.

Your sig should now look like this.

Right click on the bottom layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible. Turn off the newly merged layer and click on the next white layer to select it.

Right click and merge visible. Turn off the newly merged layer and click on the next white layer to select it.

Right click and merge visible. Turn on the visibility of all layers.

Save as a psp image. Note: If this is the first time you're saving an image in PSP 10, you need to click on the options button....

then select Save as: PSP 7 compatible file. This is because Animation Shop 3 doesn't recognise PSP 8, 9 or 10 files.

Open your sig in animation shop and save.
