Cat
Open a new canvas

Open the cat tube and go to Edit > Copy. Click on the new canvas and go to Edit . Paste > As New Layer.

Add a drop shadow to the cat using the settings in the screenshot.

Add another drop shadow, this time changing the vertical and horizontal settings to 3 instead of -3.

Click on the text tool and use the settings in the screenshot. Click on the canvas and type in the text when the text entry box opens. Click ok. Now go to the layer palette and right click on the Floating Selection layer. Click on Promote Selection To Layer.

Add an inner bevel to the text.

Add a drop shadow using the same settings as before.

Now add another drop shadow and change the vertical and horizontal to -3.

Using the mover tool, move the cat so it's sitting on your text. Arrange your layers as shown.

This is what you should now have.

Turn off the visibility of Raster 1 and click on Raster 3. Right click and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Unhide Raster 1 and flood fill it with black.

Click on the merged layer to select it then click on the crop tool. Click on Snap Crop Rectangle To Layer Opaque. A box will appear around your image.

Click on the tick to perform the crop. Go to the layer palette and right click on one of the layers. Go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Add a border by going to Image > Add Borders and use the settings in the screenshot.

Go to the layer palette and right click on the layer. Click on Duplicate. Repeat so you have 3 layers. Click on the middle layer to select it.

Set your foreground colour to #00ff00

Add a new raster layer.

Zoom in so the image is really big. Use the paintbrush, set at size 1, to paint an eye.

Go to the layer, right click on the eye layer and duplicate.

Use the mover tool to move the duplicate eye into position.

Turn off the visibility of the top and bottom layers. Right click on one of the visible layers and Merge > Merge Visible.

Unhide all layers.

Save as a psp file.

Open the file in Animation Shop. Click on frame 2 to select it.

Go to Effects > Insert Image Effect. Choose rotate colours and use the settings in the screenshot.

Right click on the frame 1 and go to Frame Properties. Set the display time to 100. Repeat on the last frame.

Save.....

and you're done!
