Creating A Web Folder

Go to your, My Documents > My Webs folder

Click on File > New > Folder

Give the folder a name and press the enter key on your keyboard.

Open FrontPage and go to File > Open Site

Browse to your 'My Webs' folder which is in your 'My Documents' folder

Click Open

You will see a list of the folders that are in your My Webs folder.

If you haven't got the folder list on show on the left side of the screen, go to View > Folder List

Right click on the new folder you created and click ok Convert To Web

A warning box will appear. Click Yes

Your new folder will now be a web folder.

Go to File > Close Site then File > Open Site

Browse to your new web folder and click Open

This is what you will see:

Click on the New Page icon or go to File > New

A new page will open.

We're not going to do anything to this page yet except to save it.

Click on the save icon

It will automatically want to save as the index.htm

You don't need to change anything, just click Save

The index.htm is your home page for your web site. You have to have this page.
